Professional Helicopter Services (PHS) was established in 1981 and is one of Australia’s leading helicopter companies. Our head office is situated in Melbourne where we specialise in pilot training, general charter, aerial film work, aerial crane work and various contracts such as power line surveys and lighthouse re-supply. We are one of the largest and most respected helicopter pilot training organisations in Australia with schools in Melbourne and Coolangatta (QLD). We specialize in providing a wide range of helicopter scenic flights in and around the Ayers Rock region and in fact we are recognised as one of the largest carriers of tourist passengers in Australia. During the peak season we operate four helicopters from the Ayers Rock Resort, three four passenger helicopters and one six passenger helicopter. All our aircraft are fitted with an intercom system providing informative commentary in Japanese, German, French, Italian or Spanish. The commentary has been vetted by the Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park to ensure accurate and culturally respectful information and was recorded by SBS Television to provide professional sound quality and clarity.
	Professional Helicopter Services has also been successfully operating from the neighbouring Kings Canyon Resort since 1996. We have the exclusive rights to conduct scenic flights from the Kings Canyon Resort. Our aircraft are also available for private charter should you wish to enjoy are more exclusive experience. Please email us for our charter rates. We provide complimentary air conditioned transfers at Ayers Rock and Kings Canyon and all flights are covered by public liability insurance. PHS is utilised by the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park (Ayers Rock) and the Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon) for medical emergencies and evacuations in the region requiring helicopter transport. PHS has also been utilised by the Northern Territory Police when helicopters were required to transport witnesses and Police personnel. We look forward to being of service to you!
